THE SOUTH DOWNS CLINIC TEAM

Here at South Downs Clinic we pride ourselves on providing first-class podiatry (previously called 'chiropody') and osteopathy services in Henfield, and the surrounding area in West Sussex. Our clinic is open to people of all ages and we guarantee you a warm welcome and understanding practitioners... these are just two of the reasons why over 9 out 10 new patients arrive at our clinic via recommendation from our existing patients.

Ross Skilton

Ross is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy. He has a Masters degree in Osteopathy from the University College of Osteopathy (formerly the British School of Osteopathy) (2011) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology with Pharmacology from the University of Southampton (1999).

Ross has been providing osteopathic services at the clinic since 2013. In 2023 Ross assumed ownership of the clinic, when the former owner retired. He is proud to be a part of such a popular, well-regarded and busy multidisciplinary practice and is determined to maintain the reputation and high quality service that the clinic has provided to the people of Henfield and the surrounding areas since it was first established.

Andre Stout

Andre trained as an osteopath after an initial career in industry, qualifying at the British School of Osteopathy in London in 2001. Andre continued his studies for a Masters degree in Sydney, Australia, to further his skills and undertake further research. Then followed his own practice 'The Rivendell Clinic', a multi-disciplinary practice in the Southern Beaches. Andre continued in private practice in Aberdeen, Maidenhead and now in Henfield.

Andre undertakes regular training, as required by his GOsC registration. This includes areas of interest such as; headaches, stress, breathing dysfunction and more recently Chronic Fatigue, ME and Long Covid.

Don't be surprised to see Andre delivering food in the village - his wife Alison runs Relish cafe, further up the high street!

Karen Fletcher

Karen graduated from from Queen Margaret University in 2010 and has worked in private practice ever since. She is a very experienced professional in all aspects of routine podiatric care,  specialises in Nail Surgery and has a keen interest in Biomechanics. In her spare time she loves to travel and play Poker.

Lauren Mann

Lauren graduated with a Masters in Podiatry from Brighton University. She has gained extensive experience within the NHS and now wishes to continue a solution based approach to treatiung patients in private practice. In her spare time she loves dancing, going to the gym and travel.

Phoebe Kublickas

Phoebe graduated with a first class honours degree in Podiatry from the University of Brighton. She is a member of the Royal College of Podiatry and is passionate about helping her patients stay active and pain-free through research-based practices. In her spare time she enjoys spending time outdoors with her two young boys.

Tracy Forte

Tracy is a qualified reflexologist and a fully registered member of the Association of Reflexologists (MAR).

Tracy was a primary school teacher for many years followed by twelve years working for a Parish Council as a Deputy Clerk. Through her work and her own personal life, Tracy became only too aware of the negative impact of the stress many of us face as we navigate our way through the intricate maze of life. The subsequent cost to our mental and physical wellbeing can be immense and yet we often struggle to find a way (or time!) to address this. Curiosity and a desire to find a way to make a difference took her on a path to study Reflexology and she was very quickly captivated by this special treatment.

Chris, Jen, Jo, Lisa and Frankie make up our Reception A-Team

Of course, the clinic wouldn't run very smoothly without the work of our front line team of receptionists. Our patients are always guaranteed a smile and a warm welcome! They'll make your appointments, answer your questions, and will help to ensure that your visit to our clinic is a pleasant one. On top of all this they've got the practitioners to organise too!!
